About AinslieWear

 

AinslieWear is designed by retired professional ballerina, Ainslie Cyopik who danced for 15 years with the National Ballet of Canada and Ballet BC.

Designed and made for her own use, Ainslie focused on creating dancewear that ‘fit right and met the needs of long rehearsal days’. Over the years, fellow dancers asked Ainslie to make their bodysuits, and in 1997 she began to produce them commercially. AinslieWear has developed a reputation for making stretch garments that feel exceptionally comfortable and last a long time. This comes from experience in sourcing great fabrics from around the world and from manufacturing in Vancouver, BC, Canada.  

Ainslie's hand made Canadian-made bodysuits are known for their exceptional quality and fabulous fit. They are worn by leading dancers and students from Paris to Tokyo, and are the Official Bodysuit of Canada’s National Ballet School.
